Barbara Katz

Barbara Katz is the Co-Director of Family Voices of Wisconsin. She can be reached at barb@fvofwi.org.

Barbara Katz is the parent of three sons, ages 21, 18 and 15. Her middle son, Ben, has significant cognitive disabilities and has been the inspiration for her work as a parent advocate. Barbara has been with Family Voices of Wisconsin since 2005; prior to that she worked with ABC for Health. Barbara serves on the Board for People with Developmental Disabilities and the Council for Children with Long Term Support Needs. She is grateful to Wisconsin families for sharing their stories and lives with Family Voices of Wisconsin.

Elizabeth Hecht

Liz Hecht is Co-Director of Family Voices of Wisconsin. She can be reached at liz@fvofwi.org.

Liz has been involved with Family Voices since 1998. She is mom to Jessica and Will, who has cerebral palsy. Liz has a passion for policy issues and has been at the forefront of several efforts to develop programs that meet the needs of Wisconsin families. Liz is on the Family Voices National Policy Committee which informs current and future policy issues for the organization. She is the Chair of the Wisconsin Council for Children with Long Term Support Needs.

Lynn Renner

Lynn is the Outreach Coordinator for Family Voices of Wisconsin. She can be reached at lynn@fvofwi.org.

Lynn is the parent of a 7 year old son with cerebral palsy. She works from her home in Madison. She has worked in the areas of health and environmental policy and advocacy for many years, including 8 years as a Senior Policy Analyst at the Wisconsin Medical Society. She has also been involved in fundraising and community outreach.
